G37 Calls For Continuous Voter Registration In Edo, Ondo and Anambra State
The National Executive Committee of G37 Political Support Group have called on the federal government to consider the resumption of continuous voter registration following the upcoming off-season election in Edo, Anambra and Ondo states.
The G37 NEC in a communique issued on Friday in FCT, Abuja ccommended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the steps taken so far in preparation for the elections.
The group said it becomes imperative the ensure voter registration in those three states to allow those who have attained the voting age to be registered.
The G37 NEC also resolved to mobilise their members in the zones where the off-season election will be conducted to embark on an aggressive campaign to woo more voters for the governorship candidates of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Part of the communique read, ” The National Executives of G37 Led by The National Coordinator, Comrade Evans City in Affirmation Resolved that All Acting /State Coordinators, Zonal Coordinators, Zonal Executives, National Executive Members should be Constituted into the Edo, Ondo and Anambra State APC Campaign Council of G37, and mobilize massively for our candidates “.
The communique also called for Maximum Support and Publicity for the Candidates of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Monday Okpebholo and his Running Mate Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa in Preparation for the Edo state Gubernatorial Elections coming up in September 2024.
