A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR on the first year anniversary of his administration. He acknowledged the challenges and the efforts the president is putting to stem the tide and put Nigeria on the path of progress and Nigerians on the path of prosperity.

“It is already a year of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. I must congratulate Mr. President, he has done well in stymying the tide by making some bold decisions and undertaking some tough but necessary reforms for the betterment of the country. In one year, President Tinubu has shown his love for infrastructure with the speedy completion of the Abuja metro rail and the flag off of the novel and audacious 700km Lagos – Calabar coastal highway amongst others.

The student loan has kicked off and credit scheme has been launched. Indeed, it might be a long walk to freedom but the journey has already started and President Tinubu has shown he has the courage to tread the path where others have feared to walk leaving his footprints in the sands of time.”

Barrister Agbaje posited that the renewed hope mantra is more than a mere slogan but one that requires courage and thoroughness to actualize.

“Renewed hope is not paying lip service to the development of the country but showing enough courage to put the nation on the path of peace, progress and prosperity through policies and reforms that cut across all sectors of governance. This journey, President Tinubu has courageously started.”
