Chieftain of the All Progressives’ Congress in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has greeted and felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of the Eid El Kabir celebration. He said the season epitomizes sacrifice.

“I want to congratulate the Muslim community on the occasion of yet another Eid ul Adha celebration. Indeed it is an auspicious celebration that comes with a call to us to commit ourselves to Almighty Allah in our worship, our trust in Him and commitment to the betterment of our society.

Eid ul Adha is also a celebration that transcends the Muslim community and an opportunity to extend a hand of love and fellowship to everyone. Infact it is an opportunity for everyone to gather and feast together regardless of religious affiliations.

The party chieftain admonished Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of the season in their dealings with one another.

“I would want to urge Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of the season which is sacrifice and total submission to Almighty Allah’s will. Let us all come together to work for the betterment of our nation. Let us drop our differences and unite in the spirit of brotherhood in this tasking journey of nation building.”
