Alhaji Basiru Babalola, a prominent elder statesman and respected figure from Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, has passed away. He breathed his last in the early hours of today, leaving behind a legacy of service, integrity, and commitment to the progress of his community and the state.

Reacting to the sad news, Barr Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, expressed profound grief over the demise of Alhaji Babalola, whom he described as a symbol of selfless leadership and community development.

“Alhaji Basiru Babalola was a man whose life epitomized dedication to humanity and the advancement of his people. His wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment to the growth of Ido Local Government and Oyo State will forever remain in our hearts. His passing is an immense loss to us all,” Agbaje stated.
