PDP Governors to Challenge Fubara’s Suspension in Court

In response to the recent suspension of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and other elected officials, the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDPGF) has announced plans to challenge the decision in court. Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde disclosed this development following an emergency meeting of the forum.

Governor Makinde emphasized the forum’s unanimous agreement to contest the suspension, stating that democracy must be protected at all costs, regardless of personal feelings or loyalties. He described the suspension as a “grievous mistake” and an “atrocious and retrograde decision.”
