Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, Ibadan North Federal Constituency Hopeful, has extended warm greetings to Nigerian workers on the occasion of the 2025 International Workers’ Day, commending their dedication, resilience, and immense contributions to national development.

In a message marking the May Day celebration, the former Commissioner for Youth and Sport, saluted workers in Ibadan North and across Nigeria for their steadfast commitment to building a more productive, equitable, and prosperous society.

“Our workers are the backbone of national progress. From the formal to the informal sectors, their daily efforts, skills, and sacrifices continue to shape the growth and stability of our economy. Their perseverance in the face of challenges is deeply commendable,” he said.

Arisekola Alao also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration for what he described as a demonstrable commitment to labour welfare, workplace safety, and national security, particularly under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“As we mark this year’s Workers’ Day, let us recommit ourselves to the values of hard work, integrity, and unity. I am hopeful that, under the Renewed Hope Agenda, better days lie ahead for Nigerian workers and their families.”
