Road to Relief: Prof Gbolagade Aids Efforts to Make Onibuke Adejare Road Motorable

Prof. Abiodun Gbolagade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in a move that has brought much-needed relief to residents of Onibuke Adejare and adjoining communities has lent his support to efforts aimed at making the long-neglected Onibuke Adejare Road motorable once again.

The road, which has suffered years of abandonment and decay, has been a source of concern for residents, motorists, and business owners who have long endured its poor condition. The renewed intervention, with the active support of Prof. Gbolagade, has sparked optimism among community members who now see a glimmer of progress after decades of neglect.

Speaking on the effort, Prof. Gbolagade described accessible infrastructure as a basic necessity that directly impacts the livelihood, safety, and development of communities. He noted that roads like Onibuke Adejare should not have been left to deteriorate for so long, as they are vital to mobility and local economic activity.

“For years, our people in Onibuke have been left to struggle with this road, which should ordinarily serve as a link for daily movement, trade, and access to essential services. I am glad to have supported a step in the right direction toward easing their burden,” Prof. Gbolagade said.

Prof. Gbolagade reaffirmed his belief that the people of Oluyole deserve accessible infrastructure and responsive leadership that listens and acts. While commending other stakeholders contributing to the effort, he emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration between government and community leaders in delivering lasting solutions.
