Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, Ibadan North Federal Constituency Hopeful, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in his constituency, Oyo State, and across the nation on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Kabir celebration.

In a statement, Arisekola Alao congratulated the Muslim Ummah for witnessing another season of reflection, devotion, and sacrifice, urging them to imbibe the virtues exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) through obedience, compassion, and commitment to higher ideals.

The former Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports emphasized the importance of the festival in reinforcing unity and charity among citizens, noting that its deeper significance lies in reaffirming faith and promoting love and goodwill in society.

“As we mark this Eid el-Kabir, let us be reminded that it is a time to show kindness, extend support to one another, and renew our hopes for a better tomorrow.”

Arisekola Alao further called on Muslims to remember Nigeria in their prayers, particularly leaders at all levels, for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength to steer the country toward progress and stability. He also urged constituents in Ibadan North to remain steadfast in promoting peace, mutual respect, and communal support.

“I enjoin us all to use this sacred period to pray for enduring peace, economic stability, and purposeful leadership for our constituency and the nation at large.”
