Prof Abiodun Gbolagade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Oluyole Federal Constituency hopeful, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Oluyole, Oyo State, and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a message signed and made available to journalists, Prof Gbolagade described Eid-el-Kabir as a period that calls for deep reflection on the values of obedience, sacrifice, and submission to the will of the Almighty, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

He noted that the significance of the festival goes beyond the festivities, urging Muslim faithful to draw lessons from the act of total obedience and willingness to sacrifice for a greater good, both in service to God and in their relationship with fellow human beings.

“This sacred occasion reminds us of the essence of selflessness, faith, and the importance of yielding to divine instructions even when they appear difficult.I encourage all to imbibe these virtues and let them reflect in our daily lives and communal responsibilities.”

While appreciating the peaceful conduct and spiritual devotion that has always characterized Eid celebrations in Oyo State, Prof Gbolagade commended the Muslim community for their contributions to the growth and moral stability of society.

He concluded by praying that the blessings of the season bring peace, progress, and renewed unity to Oluyole Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
