A Life of Duty and Discipline: Prof Gbolagade Pays Tribute to Buhari’s Enduring Legacy

Prof Abiodun Gbolagade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Oluyole Federal Constituency hopeful, has joined millions of Nigerians in mourning the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who died yesterday at the age of 82.
In a condolence message, Prof Gbolagade described the late President Buhari as a towering figure in Nigeria’s history, a man whose life was marked by unyielding devotion to the nation, unwavering discipline, and a lifelong commitment to public service.

“President Muhammadu Buhari was a true patriot who served Nigeria with distinction both as a military Head of State and as a two-term democratically elected President. His legacy will endure as a testament to the nobility of public service, defined by honesty, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to the public good.”
While extending his condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Buhari family, the government and people of Katsina State, and the Arewa community, Prof Gbolagade urged Nigerians to reflect on the ideals that shaped Buhari’s public life.

“We have lost a statesman who dedicated himself to the service of Nigeria till his last breath. His life was a reflection of sacrifice and conviction in the face of national challenges.”
“May the Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus and give his family, the people of Katsina, the Arewa community, and Nigerians at large the strength to bear this national loss.”
