Frontline aspirant for the Oluyole Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Prof. Abiodun Gbolagade, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, on his emergence as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a congratulatory message, Prof. Gbolagade described Oba Ladoja’s ascension to the revered throne as a moment of pride and continuity for the ancient city and its people. He noted that the monarch’s wealth of experience in governance, human relations, and traditions, having served as a former Governor of Oyo State, Senator of the Federal Republic, and now as the custodian of Ibadan’s throne, will further enrich the leadership of Ibadanland.

According to him, Oba Ladoja’s reign will not only consolidate the cultural heritage of Ibadanland but also strengthen its political relevance and influence within the Yoruba race and Nigeria at large.

Prof. Gbolagade extended his best wishes to the new Olubadan, praying for wisdom, sound health, and divine guidance as he steers the affairs of the ancient city.

He further expressed confidence that Oba Ladoja’s tenure would foster unity, peace, and sustainable progress in Ibadanland and beyond.
