Christmas Message: Hon Ikumogunniyi Asukuna Urges Love and Unity
Hon. Ikumogunniyi Biodun Asukuna has extended warm Christmas greetings to the people of Ibadan South West and Ibadan North West Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and Nigerians at large, as Christians across the world commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.

In his Christmas message, Hon. Asukuna described the season as a solemn reminder of love, sacrifice, and hope, noting that the birth of Christ represents God’s gift of salvation and a call for humanity to live in peace, compassion, and unity.

The APC chieftain and House of Representatives aspirant urged residents of his constituency and Oyo State to embrace the deeper meaning of Christmas by showing kindness to one another, supporting the vulnerable, and strengthening communal bonds, especially in challenging times.
According to him, the celebration of Christmas should inspire renewed faith in God and a collective commitment to building a society anchored on justice, understanding, and shared responsibility.

“Christmas reminds us of the power of love and the importance of service to humanity. As we celebrate, let us remember to reach out to one another and keep hope alive for a better future for our communities and our nation.”
Hon. Asukuna also called on leaders at all levels to draw lessons from the life of Christ by leading with humility, sincerity, and a genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
He prayed for peace, good health, and divine protection for families across his constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria, while expressing optimism that the season would usher in renewed strength and greater opportunities for progress.
He wished all Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and encouraged everyone to look forward to the coming year with faith, unity, and a shared resolve to work for the common good.
