‎Oyo APC Congress: Arisekola Alao Felicitates New Chairman, Wishes the New Oyo APC Exco Success

Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Also, Ibadan North Federal House of Representatives hopeful, has congratulated former Deputy Governor, Moses Alake Adeyemo, on his emergence as the new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State through a consensus arrangement.

Adeyemo’s emergence was announced on Tuesday during the party’s state congress held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan. The congress also produced other members of the state executive committee, including returning and newly elected officers.


‎In a statement, the former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, described Adeyemo’s emergence as a reflection of confidence in his experience, leadership capacity, and longstanding commitment to the party.

“I warmly congratulate His Excellency, former Deputy Governor Moses Alake Adeyemo, on his emergence as the Chairman of our great party in Oyo State. His wealth of experience in public service and party administration positions him well to provide steady leadership at this critical time.”

He noted that the consensus process demonstrated unity and maturity within the party, expressing optimism that the new leadership would strengthen internal cohesion and reposition the party for future electoral success.

Arisekola Alao also extended his congratulations to other members of the newly constituted and returning state executive committee, wishing them wisdom, unity of purpose, and the strength to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

‎“I pray that the Almighty grants the Chairman and members of the new executive committee the grace to lead with fairness, inclusiveness, and dedication. May their tenure bring renewed strength, harmony, and progress to our party across Oyo State.”

‎He reaffirmed his commitment to working with the new leadership in advancing the ideals of the APC and promoting unity within the party at all levels.
