Islamic New Year: Barr Akeem Agbaje Congralutes Muslim Ummah, Calls for Unity, Prayer, and Reflection
Barrister Agbaje, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, has extended his warm congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Oyo State as they join millions of faithful worldwide in observing the commencement of the Islamic New Year, 1445 AH, today, Wednesday.
In a heartfelt message to the Muslim Ummah, the esteemed legal luminary emphasized the significance of the Islamic New Year in the lives of Muslims, encouraging them to utilize this sacred month of Al-Muharram and beyond to offer special prayers for the well-being, harmony, progress, and prosperity of both the state and Nigeria as a whole.
“As we embark on the year 1445 AH, let us be mindful of the values of unity, compassion, and love. May we strive to become better individuals, showing kindness to those around us, and working together for a more equitable and peaceful world.”
Barr Akeem Agbaje also highlighted that the Islamic New Year presents an opportune time for introspection and anticipation of the future, urging the Muslim community to recommit themselves to the principles of Islam and humanity.
