Hon Abolaji Abayomi Congratulates Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rallies Ward Ambassadors for APC Dominance
Hon. Abolaji Abayomi, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and a 2027 aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency II, has congratulated the Renewed Hope Ambassadors at the ward level of Ibadan North Local Government on the occasion of their swearing-in ceremony.
In a statement issued ahead of the inauguration, Hon. Abayomi described the emergence of the ward ambassadors as a strategic step towards strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots and deepening engagement with the people.
He commended the leadership of the party for initiating the Renewed Hope Ambassadors programme, noting that it reflects a deliberate effort to reposition the APC for greater electoral success in the coming political cycle.
According to him, the responsibility placed on the ambassadors is significant, as they are expected to serve as direct links between the party and the grassroots, ensuring effective mobilisation, sensitisation, and consolidation of support across all wards in Ibadan North Local Government.
Hon. Abayomi urged the newly inaugurated ambassadors to approach their roles with dedication, loyalty, and a strong sense of purpose, stressing that their performance would be critical to the party’s fortunes in future elections.
“This assignment is a call to service. You must remain committed to the ideals of our great party and work tirelessly to ensure that the APC secures victory at the local government level, while also contributing to the success of our candidates in the 2027 general elections.”
He further encouraged them to align their efforts with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing the need to build a united and formidable party structure capable of delivering electoral victories across all levels.
Hon. Abayomi also called for unity among party members, urging stakeholders to support the ambassadors in carrying out their responsibilities effectively.
He expressed confidence that with sustained grassroots engagement and collective commitment, the APC would achieve a successful outing in Ibadan North Local Government and beyond in the 2027 elections.
