Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, Ibadan North Federal House of Representatives hopeful and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, has congratulated the newly sworn-in ward executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North Local Government.

‎In a message marking their swearing-in today, Arisekola Alao described their emergence as an important step in strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots level, noting that ward executives remain central to the organization, coordination, and growth of the party.

‎He urged the new executives to see their positions as a call to responsibility, emphasizing the need for dedication, fairness, and unity in the discharge of their duties.

‎“Your swearing-in today marks the beginning of a new phase of service to the party and the people. I encourage you to work with a sense of purpose, promote unity among members, and ensure that the ideals of our party are upheld across all wards in Ibadan North.”

Arisekola Alao noted that the effectiveness of the party at higher levels is largely dependent on the strength and cohesion at the ward level, stressing that the executives must remain accessible and responsive to members.

“As we look ahead, the role of ward executives will be vital in mobilizing support, deepening engagement, and ensuring that our party continues to grow stronger. I have confidence in your ability to contribute meaningfully to this process.”

He wishes the new ward executives a successful tenure, expressing hope that their leadership would foster unity, stability, and sustained progress for the APC in Ibadan North Local Government.
