Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), a seasoned administrator, philanthropist, and 2027 Oyo Central Senatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reiterated his long-standing commitment to community development as the AWA Foundation partners with the Rotaract Club of Oyo Central to impact young learners through education-focused intervention.

The initiative, scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, will involve the distribution of essential school materials alongside an educational talk aimed at inspiring and empowering pupils across selected primary schools in Oyo Central.

‎The beneficiary schools include Local Authority Basic School, Bola 1 in Oyo West Local Government, New Durbar Primary School in Oyo East Local Government, and AUD Basic School, Fiditi in Afijio Local Government.

‎Speaking ahead of the outreach, AWA noted that investing in education remains a critical pathway to securing a better future for the younger generation. He described the initiative as part of a broader, sustained effort spanning over a decade, during which he has consistently supported community-based programmes focused on human capital development.

‎“Education remains the foundation upon which sustainable development is built. Through the AWA Foundation, we have continued to support initiatives that uplift our communities and give our children the tools they need to succeed. This programme is another step in that direction,” he said.

He further commended the Rotaract Club of Oyo Central for its commitment to service and community impact, noting that such partnerships are essential in driving meaningful change at the grassroots.

He added that his aspiration to represent Oyo Central at the Senate is driven by a desire to expand such impact through effective and people-oriented representation.
