Hon. Mustapha Olanrewaju Salaudeen, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo State and a 2027 aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency I, has congratulated Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao on his recognition as an Icon of Ibadan Heritage by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes CCII.

In a statement made available to the media, Hon. Salaudeen described the honour as a well deserved recognition of Arisekola Alao’s contributions to the development of Ibadanland, noting that the award reflects both his personal commitment to service and the enduring values associated with his family background.

He stated that the recognition not only acknowledges Arisekola Alao’s growing role in community development but also recalls the legacy of his late father, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola Alao, whose contributions to Ibadan remain widely respected.
