Arisekola Alao Congratulates Ibadan Indigenes on Successful 2026 Ibadan Festival
Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State and All Progressives Congress (APC) Ibadan North Federal Constituency hopeful for 2027, has congratulated sons and daughters of Ibadanland on the successful hosting of the 2026 Ibadan Festival.

In a statement made available to the media, Arisekola Alao described the festival as a reflection of the rich cultural heritage, unity, and enduring values of the Ibadan people, noting that its success underscores the collective commitment of indigenes to preserving their history and traditions.


He commended the organisers and all stakeholders who contributed to the smooth and peaceful conduct of the festival, highlighting the importance of such cultural gatherings in fostering unity and strengthening communal bonds.
