In a bid to actualize his intention as well as aspiration, Hon. Abiodun Gbolagade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Mogaji Olubadan of Oke Labo, Lato Compound, has formally declared his intention to contest the Oluyole Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general election.Hon. ‎Gbolagade confirmed that he has purchased both the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms, qualifying him to participate in the APC primary election ahead of the polls.

‎Reiterating his ambition, the aspirant pledged to deliver people-oriented leadership and strengthen party structures across the constituency if given the mandate.

‎He expressed optimism about securing the party’s ticket, noting that preparations are in top gear as the APC primary election is expected to commence in May 2026, in line with the party’s timetable.
