Hon Ishaq Morufat Ajibola Declares for Ibadan North East/South East Federal Seat, Vows to End Marginalisation
In a colourful and well-attended ceremony, Hon. Ishaq Morufat Ajibola, popularly known as “Bibire Ko Se Fowora,” has formally declared her intention to contest the Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.

The declaration event, held at St. Cyprian Primary School, Padre, Ibadan, drew a large turnout of All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful, party leaders, stakeholders, youth, and women groups from across the constituency. Supporters described the atmosphere as electric, with many expressing strong solidarity for the aspirant, who hails from Baba Adajo in Temidire Ward 06, Ibadan North East Local Government.


Prominent APC figures in attendance included the Oyo State APC Oyo South Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Mojeed Delesolu; State Executive member, Hon. Alaga Muse; Ibadan North East party leader, Prince Gbade Lana; Hon. Kehinde Oloya; Hon. Nahim Ladi Oluokun; Hon. Ogundiwin; Prince Segun Ayedun; and the Ibadan North East APC Chairman, Alhaji Asimiyu Elewure. Also present were local government executives, ward chairmen, and members of the Bibire Movement Support Group.
In her declaration speech, Hon. Morufat Ajibola unveiled a people-oriented agenda anchored on equity, inclusiveness, and sustainable development. She stressed the need to restore balance and fair representation for the constituency, particularly Ibadan North East, which she said had suffered perceived marginalization over the years.

“The constituency belongs to both local governments, and under my representation, no part will be neglected,” she declared.
Reaffirming her guiding principle, “Bibire Ko Se Fowora,” the aspirant, a proud daughter of the soil, pledged to uphold integrity, attract federal projects, and ensure dividends of democracy reach markets, schools, and communities. She specifically mentioned key areas such as Oja’ba, Oje, Beere, and Labiran as priorities for development.
On empowerment, Hon. Morufat promised to champion policies that would create employment opportunities for youths, support small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), and uplift women across the constituency. She also committed to lobbying for improved road networks, healthcare facilities, and quality education.
The aspirant emphasised unity, pledging to work harmoniously with all APC leaders and stakeholders to strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 polls.
The declaration has elicited positive reactions within the political circles, with many describing it as a bold move towards more inclusive and effective representation for the Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency.
