Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, APC candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, has extended cash support to residents and party faithful across Ibadan North Federal Constituency as part of activities marking the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

‎The gesture, which has become a consistent tradition over the years, was carried out in the spirit of Sallah celebration and support for the people, especially during the festive period.

Arisekola Alao noted that sharing with the people during significant occasions remains part of the values of compassion, generosity, and communal support deeply rooted in his family tradition as exemplified by his late father, the first Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola Alao.

According to him, Eid-el-Kabir is not only a period of celebration but also a time to extend kindness and support to others, especially those in need.

“In the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir and as part of the values we have always upheld, it is important to continue identifying with the people and sharing with them during moments like this. Sallah represents sacrifice, love, and support for one another.”
