Asukuna Commemorates 6th Year Remembrance of Senator Abiola Ajimobi
Hon. Ikumogunniyi Biodun Asukuna, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and 2027 House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North West and Ibadan South West Federal Constituency, has joined family, associates, and residents of Oyo State in commemorating the 6th year anniversary remembrance of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

In his tribute, Hon. Asukuna described Sen. Abiola Ajimobi as a visionary leader who served Oyo State with distinction, noting that his tenure was marked by bold reforms, infrastructural renewal, and a clear commitment to modern governance.


He stated that the late governor’s leadership style reflected courage, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility, which contributed significantly to reshaping the governance and development trajectory of the state during his administration.
Hon. Asukuna further noted that Sen. Ajimobi’s legacy of service continues to stand as a reference point for a new generation of leaders, emphasizing that his contributions remain relevant in discussions on effective governance and purposeful leadership.

He added that the former governor’s impact extended beyond politics, as he inspired loyalty, mentorship, and a renewed sense of public duty among those who worked closely with him and those who admired his leadership from afar.
