Hon Ishaq Morufat Ajibola Hails President Tinubu, Oyo Govt, Security Agencies Over Rescue of Abducted Oriire Pupils, Teachers
The House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency, Hon. Ishaq Morufat Ajibola (BIBIRE), has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Oyo State Government and the nation’s security agencies for the successful rescue of the pupils and teachers abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State after more than 50 days in captivity.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Hon. Ishaq Morufat Ajibola described the rescue operation as a demonstration of what can be achieved through intelligence-driven security operations, praising the military, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for rescuing the victims safely, arresting eight suspected kidnappers and neutralising members of the criminal gang involved in the abduction.


She also applauded President Tinubu for providing decisive leadership throughout the operation and commended the Oyo State Government for its collaboration with the Federal Government and security agencies, noting that the successful outcome reflected the importance of coordinated efforts in tackling insecurity.
While expressing relief over the safe return of the victims, BIBIRE extended her condolences to the family of Mr. Oyedokun, who lost his life during the unfortunate incident, and urged the relevant authorities to ensure that all those responsible for the crime are prosecuted in accordance with the law.

Hon Morufat called for more proactive security measures around schools and vulnerable communities, stressing that preventing future attacks should remain a national priority. She also advocated stronger synergy among the Federal Government, state governments, security agencies, community leaders, traditional institutions and other non-state actors to improve intelligence gathering and strengthen community-based security initiatives.
BIBIRE prayed for the speedy recovery of the rescued pupils and teachers and reaffirmed his support for policies and initiatives aimed at protecting lives and property, expressing confidence that sustained collaboration among all stakeholders would further enhance peace and security across Oyo State and Nigeria.
