Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for the 2027 election, has paid tribute to former Governor of Ogun State and elder statesman, Chief Olusegun Osoba, on the occasion of his 87th birthday.

‎In a congratulatory message, Barr Akeem Agbaje described Chief Osoba as an extraordinary patriot, distinguished journalist, committed democrat, and respected statesman whose life has been defined by service, integrity, and dedication to humanity.

His contributions to journalism, democratic development, and public leadership have earned him respect across Nigeria. At 87, his life remains a testament to integrity, courage, and the values that continue to guide our society.”

The APC chieftain acknowledged Chief Osoba’s years of experience as a two-time Governor of Ogun State and his enduring influence beyond political office, describing his role as a mentor and bridge-builder as part of his lasting contribution to society.
