The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola-Alao, has concluded his grassroots thank you and consultation tour across the 12 wards of the constituency with visits to Wards 4 and 8.

‎The concluding phase of the tour provided another opportunity for Hon Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao to engage party leaders, members, stakeholders and grassroots supporters, as he expressed appreciation for their support and sought their continued cooperation ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

‎The visits to Wards 4 and 8 were marked by a warm reception from party faithful, who reiterated their commitment to the APC and pledged to work collectively towards reclaiming the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat for the party. The stakeholders also expressed readiness to mobilise members and supporters across the wards as preparations for the election gather momentum.

‎Using the engagements, Arisekola Alao thanked the party leaders and members across the 12 wards for the confidence and goodwill extended to him throughout the consultation tour. He said the exercise had strengthened his understanding of the expectations of party members and residents while providing an avenue to deepen relationships at the grassroots.

He reaffirmed his commitment to providing effective and people-oriented representation if elected, promising to work with the party structure and other stakeholders to advance the interests of Ibadan North through meaningful legislative representation, empowerment opportunities, youth development, educational support and constituency-focused interventions.

‎The APC candidate also called for unity, discipline and sustained mobilisation among party members, stressing that the task ahead requires collective effort. He urged party faithful to remain committed to the shared objective of returning the constituency to the APC in 2027.

‎With the completion of the tour across all 12 wards, party leaders and members expressed confidence in the growing mobilisation for the election and pledged to take the message of the APC to every community, polling unit and household across the constituency.
