Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and 2027 aspirant for the Oyo Central Senatorial District, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Oyo Central, Oyo State, Nigeria and beyond on the commemoration of the 1,461st anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

AWA described the birth of the Holy Prophet as a blessing to humanity and a source of Allah’s mercy, noting that the occasion offers Muslims and indeed all mankind an opportunity to reflect on the enduring message of peace, compassion, justice, humility and devotion conveyed through his life and teachings.

‎He urged Muslims not to lose sight of the profound message brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), calling on them to imbibe the lessons of his life and times by demonstrating good character, compassion for others, peaceful coexistence and commitment to the values that strengthen society.

“The birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) remains a blessing to the Muslim Ummah and indeed to the entirety of mankind. As we commemorate this significant occasion, we must not lose sight of the message he conveyed to humanity. His life, times and teachings provide enduring lessons on faith, compassion, justice, humility and peaceful coexistence.”

‎AWA further called on Muslims to make the occasion a period of sober reflection and renewed commitment to living by the virtues exemplified by the Prophet, stressing that the true significance of the celebration lies in translating his teachings into positive actions that benefit individuals, families and communities.

He prayed for peace, unity and prosperity across Oyo State and Nigeria, while wishing the Muslim Ummah a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Maulud celebration.
