The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola-Alao, has expressed his condolences to the Oyo State Government, the people of the state, family members, friends and associates of former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abdul Waheed Akintola Olajide, over his passing.

‎In a condolence message, Arisekola Alao described the deceased as a distinguished administrator and public servant whose years of service contributed meaningfully to the development and administration of Oyo State.

“Alhaji Abdul Waheed Akintola Olajide was a public servant of note and an administrator who devoted an important part of his life to the service of Oyo State. His contributions to the state and his commitment to public administration will be remembered by those who had the privilege of working with him.”
