Jimmy Odukoya, the son of late pastors Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya, has been appointed as the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church.

The announcement was made during a church service on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Pastor Rotimi Okpaise, a member of the church’s board of trustees, told the congregation that the late Taiwo Odukoya had confided in the board about his succession plan before his death in August 2023.

Pastor Okpaise said the board unanimously elected Jimmy as the senior pastor and chairperson of the board.

“The board has chosen Saturday, September 30, 2023, as the date of Jimmy’s installation,” he said.

Jimmy Odukoya is a Nigerian actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Oba Ade in the Netflix movie “The Woman King.” He has also starred in other movies such as “Lifting the Veil,” “I Am Nazzy,” and “Oga Pastor.”

In addition to his acting career, Jimmy Odukoya is also a motivational speaker.
