Olodo Bridge Construction on Schedule, Oyo Govt Assures
The Oyo State Government has assured the public that the Olodo Bridge construction project is on schedule, despite some delays due to the rainy season.
Oyo State Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Prof Dahud Shangodoyin, made the disclosure on Monday during an inspection visit to the bridge construction site. He met with the contractor and confirmed that the project is progressing well.
“I am pleased to report that the construction of the Olodo Bridge is on schedule,” said Prof Shangodoyin. “The contractor is doing a good job, and I am confident that the bridge will be completed on time.”
The commissioner explained that the bridge is being constructed as part of the 35.53 km Ibadan-Iwo-Osogbo Road rehabilitation and reconstruction project.
He said that the bridge will improve transportation and reduce flooding in the area.
“Olodo Bridge is a critical infrastructure project for Oyo State,” said Prof Shangodoyin.
“It will ease and improve transportation for residents and businesses in the area, and it will also help to reduce flooding. I am committed to ensuring that the bridge is completed on time and to the highest standards.”
The commissioner thanked the contractor for their hard work and dedication, and he urged them to continue to work hard to ensure the timely completion of the project.
