The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

A record 61.60% of candidates passed the exam, with five credits and above in English and Mathematics.

A total of 737,308 candidates passed the exam, while 1,542 candidates with special needs also passed. Of the candidates with special needs, 154 have Adermatoglyphia, a condition characterized by the absence of fingerprints, and 61 have autism.

The NECO Registrar, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, announced the results on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the NECO headquarters in Minna, Niger State.
