Omodewu’s death sad, painful – Agbaje
A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barr. Akeem Agbaje, has mourned the sudden death of the state Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Isaac Omodewu.
Agbaje, in a statement issued by his Media Office in Ibadan on Monday, described Omodewu’s death as sad and painful.
“It is yet another sad day for the progressives, particularly in Oyo State, as we lost a dedicated and progressive man.
“Omodewu was a man given to progressive ideals and dedication to service, having served Oyo State in different capacities and left a legacy of impactful service behind.
“His commitment to the service of the party was topnotch, as he served the party till he breathed his last breath.
“His exit has indeed dealt a huge blow to APC in Oyo State and created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill,” he said.
Agbaje prayed the Almighty Allah to rest the soul of the deceased and grant his family, friends and political associates the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
