YOUTH ENGAGEMENT: FG Unveils Youth Activities Dashboard (YAD) on Tuesday

The Federal Government, through the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives, Monitoring, and Delivery, is set to launch the Youth Activities Dashboard (YAD) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

The initiative aims to provide a comprehensive, real-time overview of youth-focused programs, projects, and policies across the country, fostering transparency, accountability, and youth empowerment.

YAD is a digital platform designed to streamline the monitoring, evaluation, and delivery of youth-centric initiatives in both government and private sectors. It will offer up-to-date information on ongoing projects, achievements, and areas needing improvement, ensuring that young people across Nigeria can easily access opportunities in education, employment, social inclusion, and more.

Speaking on the significance of the platform, Hon Titilope Gbadamosi, the Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives, Monitoring, and Delivery, emphasized that YAD is a vital tool to connect youth across Nigeria with federal initiatives, interventions, and empowerment programs.

“The dashboard is designed to empower young Nigerians, giving them the tools and information they need to actively engage with government programs and drive development in their communities,” she stated.

The launch event, scheduled to take place at the Conference Hall, 2nd Floor, Federal Ministry of Education, from 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon will feature presentations on how the YAD works and its potential to revolutionize youth engagement in Nigeria.

Hon Titilope Gbadamosi admonished all young people to attend the launch and explore how the Youth Activities Dashboard(YAD) can enhance youth engagement and contribute to the growth of their communities.
