Arisekola Alao Felicitates with Christians on Christmas, Calls for Prayers for Peace and Prosperity

Hon Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, Ibadan North Federal House of Representatives hopeful and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, has rejoiced with residents of Oyo State and Nigerians, especially Christians, as they celebrate this year’s Christmas.

In a goodwill message released today, Arisekola Alao emphasized the significance of Christmas as a season of love, hope, and reflection. He urged Christians to use the occasion to pray for the peace, prosperity, and unity of Nigeria.

“Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, a symbol of love, sacrifice, and compassion. It is also a moment to reflect on the values of humility, kindness, and service to humanity,” Arisekola Alao stated.

He encouraged Nigerians to imbibe the teachings of Christ by showing love to one another, especially to the less privileged, and fostering harmony in their communities.

“As we celebrate, let us remember to pray for the peace and prosperity of our nation. Nigeria is blessed with abundant potential, and through unity, understanding, and prayers, we can overcome our challenges and build a better future,” he added.

Arisekola Alao also called on leaders at all levels to rededicate themselves to providing good governance and addressing the needs of the people.

He concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year, while praying that the blessings of the season usher in renewed hope and progress for Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
