Hon Tunde Alonge, Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North East Local Government, has extended heartfelt Christmas wishes to the residents of Oyo State and Nigerians, particularly Christians, urging them to remain steadfast and hopeful despite the economic challenges facing the nation.
In his Christmas message, Alonge described the festive season as a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewed faith. He encouraged Nigerians to draw strength from the spirit of Christmas, emphasizing its essence of love, sacrifice, and unity.

“Christmas reminds us of God’s love and the gift of hope to mankind. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, I urge everyone to remain steadfast in faith and hopeful for a better tomorrow. Despite the hardships we are experiencing, this season gives us an opportunity to renew our strength and trust in God’s plans for our nation.”
He acknowledged the prevailing economic difficulties but expressed confidence that the resilience and determination of Nigerians would lead to better days.
“I understand the challenges that many families are facing, but I encourage us all to stay united and committed to the values that bind us as a people. With prayers, hard work, and unity, we will overcome the current difficulties and build a prosperous future.”
He further appealed to residents to use the season to share love and extend kindness to the less privileged in society, calling for communal support to those in need.
While wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance, he prayed for peace, development, and continued progress in Ibadan North East, Oyo State and Nigeria.
“Let this season inspire us to work towards building stronger communities and fostering peace and harmony in our nation. May the joy and blessings of Christmas bring renewed hope to every home,” he concluded.
