Prof. Gbolagade Commiserates Over Rt. Hon. Kehinde Subair’s Passing, as Burial Holds Today

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oluyole Local Government and Oyo State, Prof. Abiodun Gbolagade, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Rt. Hon. (Alhaji) Kehinde Subair, a chieftain of the APC and former Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Rt. Hon. Subair, who served two consecutive terms in the state legislature from 2011 to 2019, passed away in the United Kingdom. His death has been described as a great loss to the progressive family and the political landscape of Oyo State.


In his condolence message, the Aare Akogun Musulumi of Ibadanland, paid tribute to Subair’s dedication to public service, describing him as a committed leader who worked tirelessly for the growth of the APC and the development of Oyo State.
“Rt. Hon. Kehinde Subair was a principled and visionary leader whose contributions to our party and the state cannot be forgotten. His tenure as Majority Leader was marked by legislative excellence and dedication to good governance. The progressive family has lost a rare gem.”
He further urged members of the APC and political associates of the late lawmaker to take solace in the impactful life he lived, stressing that his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.
The final rites for Rt. Hon. Kehinde Subair will be held today at his Olomi Olunde residence in accordance with Islamic traditions. Prof. Gbolagade prayed for the repose of his soul, asking Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Al-Janatul Firdaus.
