A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oluyole Federal Constituency, Prof. Abiodun Gbolagade, has extended warm greetings to Christians in his constituency, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of Easter, urging them to reflect on the virtues of selflessness, sacrifice, and servanthood exemplified in the life of Jesus Christ.

In a message commemorating the resurrection of Christ, Prof. Gbolagade described Easter as a solemn reminder of the power of love, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the good of others — values, he said, that are deeply needed in personal, communal, and national life.

“Easter is a season that speaks to the heart of humanity. It is about hope, renewal, and the triumph of light over darkness. But most importantly, it is about service — Christ gave Himself in total obedience and love. We must also find meaning in serving one another, in putting the needs of our communities above personal gain.”

Prof. Gbolagade called on the Christian faithful to use the period to pray for peace, unity, and progress in Oluyole Federal Constituency and the nation, especially in these times that require collective healing and purpose-driven leadership.
