Hon James Adekunle Adeleke, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Caretaker Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Oluyole Local Government, Oyo State, and across Nigeria, as the faithful commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In a goodwill message, Hon James Adeleke described Easter as a sacred and solemn period that calls for deep reflection on the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who, out of divine love, gave His life for the salvation of mankind.

He noted that the Easter season is a powerful reminder of the enduring values of love, selflessness, forgiveness, hope, and renewal, which Christ exemplified throughout His earthly ministry.

“Easter offers us a unique opportunity to reflect on the profound sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ and to rededicate ourselves to living lives marked by compassion, humility, and service to humanity,” Hon Adeleke said.

“As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, let us embrace His message of hope and let it guide our actions towards building a more just and harmonious society.”

Hon Adeleke also called on leaders and citizens alike to live by the core principles of truth, righteousness, and sacrificial love, stressing that these are the virtues needed to move the nation forward.
