Hon. Babatunde Alonge, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North East Local Government, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Chief Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin on his elevation and installation as the Aare Alaasa Olubadan of Ibadanland by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, the Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Senator Folarin, a distinguished son of Ibadan and a former Senate Leader of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was until his elevation, the Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland, a revered traditional title in the Olubadan chieftaincy line. His new status as the Aare Alaasa marks another significant milestone in his enduring service to Ibadanland, the state of Oyo, and the nation at large.

In a congratulatory statement, Hon. Alonge lauded Senator Folarin’s consistent commitment to the advancement of Ibadan’s rich cultural heritage, as well as his unwavering dedication to public service, and traditional values.
