Ikumogunniyi Biodun Asukuna: A Trusted Hand, A Competent Voice, A Ready Representative

In a time when the people yearn not just for politicians, but for true leaders who understand their pains, dreams, and struggles, one man rises with a quiet strength and tested capacity—Hon Ikumogunniyi Biodun Asukuna.

He is not coming with promises built on empty words, but with a life of proven integrity, capacity, and compassion. He comes with a heart for service, a voice for the voiceless, and the competence to deliver.

Born into the respected Ikumogunniyi family of Asukuna Compound, Ibadan, Hon Biodun’s story is one many can relate to, a child of Ibadan soil who rose through the ranks not by luck, but by grace, grit, and God. He knows what it means to build from the ground up. He understands the pressures of putting food on the table, of balancing school fees with daily bills, and the desire to create a better future for one’s family.

This lived experience fuels his passion. He is not distant from the people, he is one of them. And this is why his pursuit to represent Ibadan South West/Ibadan North West Federal Constituency is driven by something deeper than ambition but a burden to serve.

Hon Biodun Asukuna is not new to responsibility. As a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, he has managed complex financial systems with precision and accountability. He has built businesses that create jobs. He has handled millions in corporate finance without a stain of corruption. He has sat in boardrooms, and still walks through the markets.

For over two decades, he has built a reputation as a man who gets things done, with excellence, and without compromise.

The same principles he applied in managing corporate finances and leading teams are what he’s bringing into public service, strategy, transparency, and service delivery.

As a grassroots politician and active member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Hon Biodun Asukuna has walked the streets of Ibadan North West and South West, not with a convoy, but with concern. He knows the roads that need fixing. He knows schools that lack desks. He knows communities still waiting for health centres. And more importantly, he has ideas, plans, and the competence to change that reality.

His journey as an entrepreneur, through Willab Enterprises and Park & Cargo Enterprise, has shown that he knows how to create opportunities, scale businesses, and lift others as he rises. He understands the aspirations of traders, artisans, students, and civil servants, because he’s worked with them, hired them, mentored them, and stood with them.

He is true to his faith and respects all faiths, and his messages of hope, progress, and peace resonate across every religious and ethnic divide.

His aspiration is not about self-promotion, it’s about making laws and attracting federal presence that directly address the educational, economic, infrastructural, and social needs of the people.

Hon Ikumogunniyi Biodun Asukuna; a name that speaks trust, a voice that speaks truth, and a heart that beats for the people.
