APC 2027 governorship aspirant Asiwaju (Dr) Yinusa Kazeem Ayandoye in a press release at the campaign headquarters of Ayandoye Governorship Project (AGP), Ogazer Event Garden beside BRENT plaza, Moniya Ibadan, in his statement, Ayandoye reiterates commitments to democracy as a bedrock of building a better society and, in return, giving dividends of democracy to the people.

He further stated that June 12th, 1993, was the day when Nigerians in millions expressed their democratic will in what was undisputedly the freest, fairest, and most peaceful elections since our independence The fact that the outcome of that election was not upheld by the then military government does not distract from the democratic credentials of that process.

Today, we are also celebrating Chief MKO Abiola, the presumed winner of the June 12th, 1993, cancelled elections. His running mate as Vice President, Ambassador Baba Gana Kingibe, they’re our Democracy heroes.
Democracy is the best form of governance, though our nation democracy is undergoing serious overhauling through the “RENEWED HOPE AGENDA” of Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In the long run,Nigeria will be better for it.
I want to encourage our dear people of Nigeria and Oyo state to remain unperturbed but be focused and do what is right, legal and help our Democracy to grow.
