EDUCATION IS A SCAM!

Do you really believe that education is a scam?
I quite disagree with those people who say that Education is a scam.

My dear, education is not a scam, it is very important for everyone to be educated. Most importantly, formal education is an aspect that cannot be over looked.
Although if this belief is accepted in Nigeria by some people it cannot be said to be so in the Western Countries.

I can agree with you to an extent if you say that university education is a scam but not one hundred percent!
Those people who are saying this are only saying it maybe because of bad leadership, bad economy and lack of jobs for many young graduates in Nigeria. But as primitive as our educational system in Nigeria may seem, you still need it to lay a vital foundation where necessary before you can embrace and understand modern discoveries.
No education is a scam. The day a man stops learning is the day that man dies.
It has been said that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. How then can a powerful weapon suddenly become a scam?
The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.
You want to be free from the shackles of ignorance and bondage? You need education because it can be the passport to your freedom!
You want to go far in life? You need education because lack of education can place limitation in someone’s life, it can make you a slave to your peers and people who are below your age.
But one thing I know is that apart from being educated, you need skills. Your education plus your skill can constitute a real ice breaker in this present day.
So, education without skill can take you far, but education with skill will take you farther! You need the combo my dear!
Get skill and get the necessary education needed so that you can go as far as you want, so that you too can have a say and be relevant in your chosen career path.
This is what you need to do; Firstly, you need to know what you are good at meaning you need to know your area of specialization, get skilled and get the necessary education needed in that thing that comes naturally to you.
Secondly, stop going to school because you are tired of staying at home or because you feel that your mates have left you behind.
Thirdly, stop accepting courses that does not resonate or align with your interest. If you do that you might end up being frustrated, unfulfilled and getting your desired job might be difficult or impossible. This is the main reason why you will conclude that education is a scam.
