As Oyo State observes the remembrance of its former Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, a heartfelt tribute has been offered by Hon. James Adekunle Adeleke, former Caretaker Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, who described the late statesman as a true leader whose legacies will never be forgotten.

In his message, Hon. Adeleke reflected on the enduring impact of Senator Ajimobi’s leadership, describing him as a visionary, courageous, and strategic leader who laid the foundation for the modern transformation of Oyo State.

“Senator Abiola Ajimobi was not only a governor; he was a true statesman, a man whose wisdom in governance and politics was uncommon. He was daring in his approach, focused in his reforms, and remains the architect of modern Oyo State.”

“His administration brought order, structure, and growth to the state. He raised the bar for public service and inspired a new generation of leaders. I am proud to have served under his leadership as Caretaker Chairman of Oluyole Local Government.”

“His contributions to national development can never be downplayed. Senator Ajimobi brought a depth of thought, courage, and patriotism to the national table, and his insights will continue to shape our understanding of purposeful governance,” he stated.

In his tribute, Hon. Adeleke offered special prayers for the family of the late Governor, particularly Her Excellency, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, asking for divine strength to carry on his noble legacy.
