Barr Akeem Agbaje Mourns Former Oyo Chief Judge, Justice Afolabi Adeniran

Barr. Akeem Agbaje, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a two-time gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, has extended his condolences to the family, friends, and professional colleagues of the late Hon. Justice Afolabi Adeniran, former Chief Judge of Oyo State, who passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of 87, following a brief illness.

Justice Adeniran, a seasoned jurist and dedicated public servant, served Oyo State with distinction, rising through the ranks of the judiciary to become the Chief Judge. His decades-long service to the state and the legal profession was marked by diligence, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to the rule of law.


In his condolence message, Barr. Agbaje noted that the late Justice Adeniran exemplified professionalism and moral uprightness in public service, adding that his contributions to the development of the judiciary in Oyo State remain notable.
