Barr Akeem Agbaje Mourns Former President Muhammadu Buhari, Condoles with President Tinubu and the Buhari Family

Barr. Akeem Agbaje, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 Oyo State gubernatorial aspirant, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the passing of his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former president, who died at the age of 82, was twice elected as Nigeria’s democratic leader in 2015 and 2019, and had earlier served as the country’s military Head of State from January 1984 to August 1985.

In a statement released to the press, Barr. Agbaje described the late President Buhari as a figure who lived a life dedicated to the service of Nigeria. He noted that while his passing was unexpected, it marks the end of a long chapter of commitment to national unity, discipline, and public stewardship.
“I extend my deepest condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the First Lady, Hajia Aisha Buhari, the entire Buhari family, and all associates of the former president. The late Muhammadu Buhari served Nigeria with unwavering conviction, both in and out of uniform, leaving behind a legacy defined by discipline and patriotic ideals.”

“May the Almighty Allah grant his family and associates the fortitude to bear this great loss, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”
