Politics is fundamentally about strategy and numbers,not sentiment, and election outcomes naturally influence political decisions and taking very holistic evaluation data from past elections suggests that adjustments are needed in APC,Oyo State chapter to strengthen the party’s position, as l appeal to all members, particularly the leaders

to be men and women of quality and integrity in doing the right thing as we journey towards kilometer 2027.

As a stakeholder in the party and a great advocate of good governance, l urge the party to take some hard decisions that has potentials of taking us back to Agodi Government House in readiness for real development in our dear potentially great state. We cannot continue watching from sidelines and opposition party where local government administration has been structurally become a comatose and presently in the ICU receiving oxygen.

I am not too a novice to know that loyalty and performance are important,but for me and the verified position of many, l strongly think the ultimate goal of any political party is to win elections, therefore, my take is that for us to consider my rational thought – “lf those that had been candidates of the party with the results of losing general elections and those that won but performed below expectations, then, it would be a strategic move in the party’s interest not a personal attack or an act of injustice to allow other ASPIRANTS with capacity, competence and goodwill of electoral values to be our candidates at all levels in 2027”.

We can’t be doing same thing Same way all the time and expect different results,as we journey towards 2027 our focus should be intentional not on sentiment, but purely about electoral strategy that focus on conducting the necessary political arithmetic to determine the best course of action for the party ahead of the next election. We must be intentional in returning Oyo State APC to the era of our progressive leaders who sacrificed everything (ambition and interests) to pave way for the electoral victory of the party. I also canvas for the application of spirit of inclusiveness that produce win-win game for all.

With all the arrays of gifted brilliant minds that the party parades, then it will be a sin on humanity if we fail to win Oyo State back for the party in 2027.
