The Rotary Club of Ibadan-Oritamefa, a prominent humanitarian service organization, will on Saturday, August 16, 2025, formally install Rotarian Dr. Olatunde Ogundiran as its 11th President.

The installation ceremony, scheduled to hold at the Afe Babalola Bar Centre, Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan, will also feature the induction of new Board of Directors, admission of new members, presentation of awards, and a fundraiser to support the club’s impactful community development initiatives.

According to a statement signed by Rotarian Adeniyi Abiodun Adeoti, Chairman of the Publicity Committee, the planning committee led by Rotarian Ojo Jimoh is working diligently to ensure a memorable and well-coordinated event.

The ceremony is expected to draw dignitaries from within and outside Oyo State, including:

Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Esq., Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, as the Special Guest of Honour;

Rtd. Gen. and Mama Oladayo Popoola as Father and Mother of the Day;

Hon. Moses Oluwatoyin Fayinka, Member representing Mushin Constituency II in the House of Representatives;

Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, Member representing Ibadan South East/North East Federal Constituency, who will be honoured with an award at the event.

The Rotary Club of Ibadan-Oritamefa continues to be a model of service and impact through its projects in areas such as:

Disease Prevention and Treatment,

Maternal and Child Health,
