House of Representatives aspirant for Oluyole Federal Constituency, Prof. Abiodun Gbolagade, has congratulated the former Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Prince Ayodeji Abass-Alesinloye, on his appointment as Commissioner representing Oyo State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement on Tuesday, Prof. Gbolagade said the appointment reflects confidence in Prince Abass-Alesinloye’s capacity to contribute to the work of the Commission.

He commended President Tinubu for the choice and expressed hope that the new appointee would bring his experience to bear in promoting fairness and inclusivity in line with the FCC’s mandate.

Prof. Gbolagade wished Prince Abass-Alesinloye well in his assignment and prayed for guidance in the discharge of his responsibilities.
