Barr. Akeem Agbaje, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and 2027 governorship hopeful, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Oyo State, Nigeria, and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Eid ul-Mawlid, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In his goodwill message, Agbaje described the celebration as a moment of reflection on the noble character and exemplary virtues of the Prophet, urging the Muslim Ummah to live by his teachings of love, patience, tolerance, and perseverance.

He noted that these virtues remain essential in building a society anchored on peace, security, and harmony.

“The life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a model of compassion, justice, and steadfastness. As we celebrate his birth, it is important that we renew our commitment to imbibing these values in our daily lives. He further emphasized that peace and harmony are necessary foundations for development, assuring that Oyo State and Nigeria can achieve their fullest potential when citizens embrace these timeless virtues.
