Ilora Day 2025: Alhaji Ademola Wasiu Alli Lauded for His Lifelong Service to Humanity
The ancient town of Ilora in Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State came alive with colours, culture, and celebration as Alhaji Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), a respected administrator, philanthropist, and community leader, served as the Father of the Day at the 31st Ilora Day Celebration.

The grand occasion, hosted by His Royal Majesty, Oba Stephen Oparinde (Ilufemiloye I), drew dignitaries, traditional rulers, political leaders, and proud sons and daughters of Ilora from within Nigeria and the diaspora, all united in celebration of their rich heritage and community progress.

As Father of the Day, Alhaji Ademola Wasiu Alli(AWA) was warmly received and celebrated for his selfless contributions to community development, philanthropy, and human empowerment. His presence at the event was described by many as a reflection of his deep connection to the people and his consistent efforts to uplift lives through compassion and service.

In his remarks, Alhaji Ademola Wasiu Alli(AWA) expressed deep appreciation to Kabiyesi, Oba Stephen Oparinde, and the entire Ilora community for the honour of serving as Father of the Day.
